This weeks Trifextra Challenge stays true to the 33 word count, but requires a letter of apology.
Here goes:
Dear Antagonist,
Please accept my apology for leaving you out of the loop, there have been changes in the current storyline that required careful consideration, like your annihilation. You will receive an update next week.
Sincerely,
The Protagonist
I have an entire novel - "Crazy Robot Stores now known as Hybrids" where I should write letter of apology to my main character for hating him so much that I've shelved the project.

That's funny Lance. Maybe if you did, you would end up with it back off the shelf and into completion (thinks about that for a moment) On second thought, keep going on Velvet and her dad first... uh huh, I'm hungry.
DeleteThank you!
What a clever response to the prompt! Great letter!
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandra :-)
DeleteSounds like something I should probably write to my antagonists. I hate to imagine what they would write in response. :D

laughs That would be a fun exchange!
DeleteHaha!!! I get so involved in my antagonists that it is REALLY hard not to start redeeming them. "Oh but look, he's..."
ReplyDeleteLOL, I can see that happening fairly easily!
DeleteLoved this one. Creative take.
ReplyDeleteThank you ODNT :-)
