N ~ Night Rain

Night Rain~

Once-full moon pressed stormy skies,
to share a light remaining
memories, gathered in soft rain
fell like silent tears
moist, cold, peaceful
it has its place
among the flowerZ
in the garden of a heart.

  2. Something very soothing and nourishing about hearing a soft night rain when you are warm and safe.

    1. I would agree. My tendency is to move into it, as close as I can be without getting wet, like under a tin roof in an open barn stall, or a carport, or a tunnel in the park... but if it is warm and I am able, my bare feet will be drinking in the ground water as I walk in it. I just love the rain!

  6. Lovely poem - although we have far too much rain here (and not just at night either!)

    1. Too much makes the world around us soggy, that's unfortunate. Though I bet you have some wonderfully lush surroundings (as I have already noticed in the pictures you have been sharing).

    1. Me too, it's like a lullaby... soothing, and one of my best times to think things through.
