A ~ Age and Time

Age & Time~

Thoughts spin a mystical web

around their counterparts

blending both sides into one unit

completing the circle.

Young eyes see the world

simplistically

no depth, nor shallow spaces

simple wavy lines

eXpand from "here"... to "there"

with no Question of

what is in between.

Ancient eyes see the world

intrinsically

with depth and shadows

complicated crossing lines

tie knots between "then" and "now"

with careful questions

of what is in between.

  18. I now have ancient eyes - and actually prefer the view from them than from my youthful eyes. Age starts to blur things around the edges, and life somehow becomes more comfortable.
