It was a good day, filled with neighborhood children laughing, quiet moments and promises left lingering in the air. If I were to fall in love, it would be on a day such as today. Where cool breezes brushed skin like gentle fingers, as ours found their way to one another.
We could watch the hummingbirds dance around the feeders together.
Then sit in the soft green grass with bare feet and watch the bees enjoy their treats as we enjoyed each other.
It's days like this that remind me,
Sometimes… less is more.
