Late Night Winds~
Moonlight slid past the open window
through a thin cotton gown
ghost hands caressing
secret places.
Curtains dance in the crisp breeze
over pale shoulders,
painting a memory
in the winds.

This post is part of the
A-Z Challenge 2012.
You are good!
ReplyDelete"... and when she was bad she was horrid." (Do you remember that little rhyme?)
Delete;-) Thanks d~
I love the moonlit scene--well done :) Jenn

ReplyDeleteLife is a memory painted in the wind. Thank you Sandra, I think you are too (a keeper).
Delete:-)
Loved the imagery here.. How you keep up with the various blogs of your, a wonder. I am working on a second novel while shopping the first, and keeping to my posts and I tell you, it's a wonder I have time to breath. You're going to have a nice chap book at the end of this process.
ReplyDeleteIt's not always an easy feat. This A-Z Challenge has been an extreme test for time management, and effective use of my reading and writing. I am working on a novel (or a series foundation) while several others that are started, but no where near completion beg for attention time and again. I just keep moving forward. I hadn't thought about a chap book, but that's a very good idea Brenda. Please let me know when the first book hits the shelves, you know I will want a copy. :-)
DeleteFabulous! Again!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Beth!

ReplyDeleteIt was nice of you to take the time to read it, and respond Maria. Thank you.
DeleteVery evocative. Love it!
ReplyDeleteI love that word... "evocative" it conjures up rich, delightful, semi-taboo images. :-) Thank you Amy.
DeleteSensual with a hint of creepy... lovely.
ReplyDeleteThank you for taking a peek, and letting it simmer for a moment in your mind.
DeleteBy far, one of my favorites - and not solely because you make mention of "secret places"...
ReplyDelete=)
If I could picture your face, as you attempted to convince me that the "secret places" were not what drew you in... would I find a shade of rose upon your cheeks? ;-)
DeleteBut just a shade ;)
Delete:-) I am glad that you enjoyed it.
Deletei l o v e memories! :0)
ReplyDeleteMe too, especially the tender... warm... ones.
