Tag, You're It!
This
post written in response to GBE 2 week #54 prompt - self; and also because I
was tagged in Blog Tag.
I was tagged in Blog Tag by Kat over at My View Through Kat Eyes.
I was tagged in Blog Tag by Kat over at My View Through Kat Eyes.
Here
are the rules of the game according to Kat:
"Each person must post 11
things about themselves on their blog. Answer the questions the tagger set
for you in their post and create 11 new questions for the people you tag to
answer. You have to choose 11 people to tag and link them on the post. Go to
their page and tell them you have linked him or her. No tag backs."
Eleven Things About Me.
1. I am filling this out because I adore Kat.
2. When I dream, it is most often lucid.
3. I believe that coffee is best served fresh and strong.
4. Gardening is a wonderful way to plant my thoughts.
5. I've been known to rush out on a conversation, so I don't miss out on a great sunset.
6. I am fond of dragons, elephants, tigers (all big kitties), dragonflies, and butterflies.
7. I collect spoons ;-)
8. I love to take pictures of nature (well okay really anything that catches my eye hehehhe).
9. I write every day.
10. I'm learning to play the piano J
11. I make my own rules as I go.
Considering answer number 11, it will not surprise you that I did not tag 11 people with this. I am just flat out too danged busy lately to take the time to get that done. So, I am answering the questions, and will leave this open for anyone who wants to do the same.
Answering Kat's questions.
1. Why did you start a blog?
Because
I thought it would be fun to share with other writers, get feedback on the
technique, and share conversation with like-minded people.
2. When watching a movie, do you prefer comedy or drama?
It
would depend on my mood. I will reach for drama most often; however, that is
because most of the "comedy" I see is just not funny to me. I don't
like bathroom humour, or ridiculous humour, and most of what I see is just
that.
3.
What author, dead or living, would you
most like to spend an afternoon with?
Stephen
King (I have no desire to spend an afternoon with the dead) ;-)
4. Describe yourself in 3 words.
Alive,
curious, persistent.
5. What book are you currently or have recently read?
I
started a Nora Roberts trilogy, then set that aside to read "Save the
Cat" on screenplay writing.
6. Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Sometimes
both, it depends on what I am working on, and whether I have to be up early the
next day.
7. What would be your fantasy dream job, excluding writer?
I
have a tendency to move my "dreams" to reality. I see myself writing
in a house with large windows, and many trees. To exclude the biggest part of
me, would be like asking me to dream without thinking, it's not possible.
8. If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be?
Where
my closest family is. I love them and would be happiest where they are.
9. Favorite childhood memory?
Eating
dry fruit loops on the floor in my gramma's house when I was about 2.
10. What one word could change the world if more people believed in it?
Living.
Most people start planning for death from the moment they are aware enough to
know the possibility exists, and continue to do so until they achieve that
moment. If more people were focused on living… really LIVING, it would change
the world in wonderful ways.
11. What is your biggest pet-peeve?
Ignorance.
Aaawwww thank you ~k~. I adore you too and I love getting a look into the real you.
ReplyDelete:-) I'm glad you do...
Deletenice to know more about you! Stephen King, huh? That's bound to be one interesting lunch:)

grinZ Yeah, I admire Stephen King's ability for drawing the reader in with details that belong in a screen play, and pulling it off so eloquently, so often.
Delete:-)
I already adore your words, now I know more of the woman on the inside. Wonderful. My favorite is the house with the windows.
ReplyDeleteWhen I am there, I will fly you in so you can enjoy them too :-)
Deleteyou remember being 2? amazing
ReplyDeleteI know so much about you as a writer but so little about you as a erson away from the pen/pencil
This was a terrific snapshot...more please
I do remember many things... more like still shots though, no streaming.
DeleteAnd if you could, what is it you would like to know Lance? :-)
Nice to know you better. I love fresh coffee too but oftentimes, I forget I have coffee when I get too busy, it gets cold and microwaved many times over before I finish it, if I remember it at all.
ReplyDeleteHow true about comedies these days. So I only get to way slam-bang films, for which I have no expectations and are fast paced. and cartoons too. The Last Airbender series is nice.
Good luck with the piano. :-)
The first two cups for me, don't have a chance to get cold ;-)
DeleteCartoons are great, I may never outgrow them. I liked the Last Airbender, but I only saw the first one.
Nice to have your company in here.
