Child Born a Long Time Ago~
She was a child born a long time ago
cradled in love, where northern winDs blow
loves light surrounded her modest home
but times were tough, it was never enough
for the child born... a long time ago
She learned how to walk in tiny barefeet
laughed at the wind as it rushed through the trees
painted cloud pictures, bumped up her knees
but life was tough... it was never enough
for the child born... a long time ago
Her father called her an angel
Momma said she was too rough
the smile she wore then was painful
life was tough... there was never enough
for the child born, a long time ago.

That makes it all that much more fun to share Jo. They are each a part of the very heart of me, sometimes that is harder to share than the stories. :-)
DeleteLovely and haunting.
