T ~ Thoughts

Thoughts~

I wonder where you are tonight

in the aftermath of extinct social graces

Are you the breath of wind

that caresses my face

with tranquility?

Or the dancing leaves

that pirouette before me

but never stray from sight?

If spiritual sublimation

.....is love,

then why must it be so difficult

to trace it's footprints

in the sands of time?

Are we, mere mortals...

souls in borrowed bodies

lent to us for brief spans

to teach...

....to learn

....... to falter

with each imperfect step

we walk on

this journey we have come to know

..... as life.
