Perceptions and Expectations

Subtle are the words that rise up from within another to profess their cloaked indignation of a fellow human being. If we lock in our perspectives on what we expect another to be, say, do, or react like, both parties are cheated out of an experience that is free from condemnation. The expressions revealed will be tainted with the limited exposure we have with that person, or group of people. When we allow new thought, or the "moment" to congeal in and of its own volition, we can welcome potential growth. While it is sometimes prudent to be cautious, due to past experience, it is also limiting for personal relationships.
Ask yourself this, how much have you changed in the last year? How much room do you give another in your mind, or heart to change?
We are all capable of transitioning from one way of life to another. What makes some think that their way is the only way, or the best way to behave… live… learn… be?
The greatest gift I can give to another of myself is room to breathe, grow, and learn… along with the support necessary to assist in the transformation.
