~Slide

This weeks 100 Word Song Challenge is Ben Harper's "The Woman in You"

Do you want to take part in the weekly 100 Word Song Challenge? Just click on Leeroy the robot and he'll take you to the leader ;-)

Here's my inspiration:

Slide

Slide across the dance floor

(that's right)

Slide on over here to me

Let me trickle in your mind

a word that's meant to bend

but never break

you.

You know you want to.

Slide over here to me.

There's danger in your eyes

Moody mesmerize

(the way you do me)

Don't worry 'bout a thing

Close your eyes and move

(That's right)

in a little closer

I've got things to tell you

I've got words to sell you

Slide over here to me.

(That's right)

Slide on over…

Just one step closer,

slide into me baby

slide into me.

  1. This felt naughty and sexy and foreshadowing. What kind of woman am I sliding into?

I like the playful creativity of this. You went a different way and I love that.

  2. All you have to do is put music to that one and you have it. I feel it. I loved music as much as I love books. I might give way to the 100 word song challenge.
