Peel Me~ (100 Word Song)

The 100 Word Song Challenge asks you to write 100 words (no more, no less) in whatever genre, or fashion you are inspired to write in, using the song of the week to get you there.

This week's 100 Word Song challenge inspiration is Dianna Krall's "Peel Me a Grape" chosen for Lance and Leeroy by Eric Storch

Peel Me~

Krall's voice slid beneath Jenny's silk slip, up the gracious curve of her hips and waist with an inviting tug toward the dance floor. Heels left behind, stocking feet met the wood, with a slow glide into rotation. Peter watched her from the stage, mesmerized by each punctuated movement.

"I didn't know you could dance," Jenny said.

"This song inspires me," He said, with a smile that would have made a snake proud.

Peter's eyes remained on Jenny, every move recorded with the strumming of his bass, she could feel his rhythm.

  1. Very sensual, but also a little sinister.

  5. I'm with Tara on this one. There is something sinister and it could be from either Krall or Peter. I'm amazed how well the players are able to tell so much of a story in 100 words. Will there be more?

    1. This one will probably grow, but not in the near future Debbie. I have so many that are started, that I really need to focus on finishing something :-)

  6. I love how you wrote about dancing, too! It's hard not to with such a great song like this. And it just had to be sexy, right? Love it, love your take on it! Thanks also for the lovely comment on my Bambino post, it is so much appreciated!

    1. Dancing is such a large part of sensuality that it is difficult to omit it from a sexy scene. Thank you so much for coming by and taking a peek. :-)
